What is IPChecks?

There are over 100 DNS blacklists in service today. To control spam, ISPs and Email Service Providers use various blacklists to determine if your email should be accepted by their servers. If your computer/mail server's IP Address is blacklisted, probably over half the world will not receive emails sent by you.

IPChecks is an online service that monitors & keeps track of your IP Addresses against polular blacklists. Whenever any of your IP Addresses gets blacklisted, IPChecks will immediately notify you location of the blacklist where your IP Address is listed and also the process of delisting.


How it works? / What happens after I signup?

1. After you signup, you need to enter IP Address(s) of mail server (smtp) which you use to send emails. (If you do not know IP Addresses, we will assist you in finding the same. Please contact us via Support Form ).

2. IPChecks will now regularly monitor and keep track of all your IP Addresses against all popular blacklists.

3. If any of your IP Address gets blacklisted, IPChecks will immediately notify you.

4. Additionally, weekly reports will keep you informed of status of your IP Addresses. You can also access online reports from controlpanel anytime.


Why I should check for blacklisting?

Most ISPs and Email Service Providers use various blacklists and blocks emails from blacklisted IP Addresses. Often your emails are blocked because your IP Address is in range of IP Addresses used for spamming or your computer/mail server is an open relay or infected with virus.

To ensure that your email communication (in turn your business) dont suffer, it is important to to know where you are blacklisted and take required measures.


Which blacklists IPChecks monitors?

IPChecks monitors most of the popular blacklists. New blacklists are regularly added.

List of current blacklists that are being monitored is available within your control panel.


Does IPChecks blacklists IP Addresses?

IPChecks is not a blacklist, nor it is affiliated with any blacklists. IPChecks do not blacklist any IP Addresses. IPChecks monitors known DNS blacklists to see if your IP Addresses are blacklisted & notifies you.


What reports IPChecks provide?

IPChecks regularly monitors and keeps track of all your IP Addresses against popular blacklists. IPChecks will immediately notify you when any of your IP Addresses gets blacklisted or delisted.

Additionally, you can access latest blacklisting & PTR (Reverse DNS) status of your IP Addresses, blacklisting & delisting history, delisting information, PTR records history of all your IP Addresses from your control panel.

You will also receive weekly reports notifying you of status of all your IP Addresses.


Which IP Address I should monitor?

It should be IP Address of your mail server (smtp) which you use to send emails.
